Student From Fordham Prep Second To Be Killed By Train In Last Month

The teenager who appears to have jumped in front of a Metro-North train in the Bronx is the second Fordham Prep student to die this way in less than a month.

The incident occurred at roughly 3:30 p.m. and created travel backups in excess of an hour well into the evening commute.

Authorities believe the most recent incident is a suicide, the New York Daily News said.

Another Fordham Prep student, and Sleepy Hollow resident, jumped in front of a Metro-North train on Jan. 18 at the Philipse Manor Train Station.
