Some Residents In Irvington Still Without Water After Water Main Breaks

IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Residents along North Astor Street are without water after a water main break Sunday under the street between Main and Bridge streets.

Water department personnel are making the necessary preparations to repair the water main overnight Monday beginning at about 7 p.m. While the repairs are being made, a wider section of lower Main Street will be without water. The wider area is expected to include the following streets:

North side of Main Street from North Dutcher Street down to North Astor Street
All of North Astor Street
All of North Buckhout Street

Residents should anticipate being out of water for up to 8 hours starting at 7 p.m. Monday.
