In this role, Renck has oversight of ancillary clinical services and the hospital’s patient safety program.
Renck is a certified joint commission professional. She also has certification in Just Culture, master training certification in Team STEPPS (educational programs that enhance communication, teamwork and patterns of behaviors that impact patient safety) and a certificate in patient safety from Harvard University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the College of New Rochelle and a master’s degree in nursing from Pace University.
Prior to joining Phelps, she worked at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where she had responsibilities for patient safety, joint commission accreditation, quality management and risk management.
