Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown Cops Investigating Suspicious Fires

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. --  A recent string of leaf- pile fires in Sleepy Hollow and brush fires in Tarrytown are now being investigated by authorities after being deemed suspicious, according to Patch.com.

Two of the three leaf pile fires were on Palmer Avenue, the third leaf pile fire was on Millard Avenue, less than half a mile away from the other fires, Patch.com reported.

Tarrytown authorities are also investigating two brush fires that occurred on the same day at the Hackley School and at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, according to Patch.com

Authorities are treating all of these fires as possible arson, Patch.com said.
