Sleepy Hollow Police Arrest Five Over Weekend

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Sleepy Hollow Police arrested five people over the weekend, according to a release from Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Gregory Camp.Camp said a 37-year-old man was arrested Sunday after police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Beekman Ave. at 11:30 p.m. The man, whose name was not released, was later charged with endangering the welfare of a child.Police arrested a 28-year-old man for criminal mischief and harassment on Sunday around 9:30 a.m. after responding to a domestic incident on Depeyster St., Camp said. Camp did not release the man’s name.One 33-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Camp said. Camp did not release the person’s name.Camp said police arrested a 24-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident for operating a vehicle with a suspended license on Friday around 11:45 p.m. on North Washington St.A fight on Clinton St. at 7:30 p.m. on Friday led to one 22-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident to be arrested and charged with third-degree assault. Camp did not release the person’s name, but noted the assault victim suffered a head laceration.Camp said he believed the fight stemmed from a domestic incident that happened several days prior to Friday’s fight.
