Sleepy Hollow Police Arrest Burglar

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. –A Sleepy Hollow man was arrested on Thursday after a home on Chestnut Street was burglarized, police said.

Juan A. Garcia, 28, has been charged with second-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Police received a 911 call from a resident on Chestnut Street around 11 p.m., saying he had confronted and chased a suspect from his home.

After police conducted an investigation, they identified Garcia as a suspect and found him on Beekman Ave. two hours later.

Garcia has been transported to the Westchester County Jail. He will appear in Sleepy Hollow court on Monday.
