Anne Bashant, a former Sleepy Hollow resident, died Wednesday night at McLeod Medical Center, Florence, South Carolina. She was 64.
Bashant was born on June 19, 1947, in North Tarrytown to the late Dorothy Fredericks Lamasney and John Jack Lamasney. She worked in the Tarrytown School District from 1986 to 1994 and retired to Marion, South Carolina in 2007 with her husband Thomas TJ Bashant.
She is survived by her children John Jack Weaver of Deer Park, NY and Chris Weaver of Trumbull, CT, her sister Karen Zaccardo of Plano, TX, granddaughters Erica and Chloe Weaver, grandson Evan Weaver, and three nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday at Coffey Funeral Home from 3p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial services will be on Thursday beginning with a gathering of mourners at Coffey Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.
