Sleepy Hollow Declares State Of Emergency For Sandy

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Sleepy Hollow officials declared a state of emergency Monday morning as Hurricane Sandy continued its approach.

All village offices and parks are closed until further notice. The village is also suspending alternative side parking on Tuesday.

Sleepy Hollow urged residents to report storm damage to the Sleepy Hollow Police Department at 914-631-0800. For emergencies, residents should call 9-1-1.

Residents should call the police department if they need temporary shelter. A village-wide emergency shelter has not been designated.
