SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Hydrant flushing begins this week in Sleepy Hollow, which may lead some water discoloration, village officials said.
Crews began flushing hydrants in the inner-village and Webber Park Monday. Work will continue in that area through Friday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Hydrant flushing will continue next week in the Philipse Manor and Sleepy Hollow Manor neighborhoods between 7 p.m. and 1 p.m.
"Residents may experience brown water during this time," a notice from the village said.
