WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The weekend will start out with more rain and flooding, but the National Weather Service says the sun will be out by Memorial Day.
Thunderstorms will continue on Friday , slowly decreasing in strength in the afternoon and on Saturday. The National Weather Service forecasts a slight chance of rain on Sunday morning, but says Monday should be bright and clear.
- Friday: Heavy rain and thunderstorms likely before noon, then showers in the afternoon. Temperature expected to reach 67 degrees.
- Saturday: Rainy, with wind gusts up to 34 mph. Temperature expected to reach 59 degrees.
- Sunday: A chance of showers before 8 a.m., then partly sunny skies. Temperature expected to reach 57 degrees.
- Monday: Sunny skies, with a high temperature of 70 degrees.
