Work began this week on the Rockland trestle, which is the second temporary work platform to be constructed as part of the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement project.

The State of New York is requiring all Basic STAR exemption receivers to re-register with the New York State Tax Department by Dec. 31.

Jewel of Himalaya will open soon in the shopping center on Halstead Avenue in Harrison, offering residents an exotic dining option.
