TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – A large crowd of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow residents rose up to protest violence against women Thursday afternoon.
The "Hudson River Rising" event saw more than 75 people marching down Route 9 and Main Street in Tarrytown, converging in a flash dance mob.
The event was part of the global "One Billion Rising" initative, where people raise awareness about violence against women in a bid to stop it.
