TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – More than 1,800 rubber ducks raced to the finish line in Andre Brook on Saturday in Tarrytown during the annual Rotary Duck Derby and YMCA Healthy Kids Day.

Sarah Chalfy took home the grand prize of $1,500 on Saturday, with the RSHM Life Center earning second place with a DoubleTree Hotel stay and Red Hat on the River gift certificate and Stan Biloon getting third place and a Baby Chic Boutique gift certificate, according to Rotary Rubber Duck Derby Co-Chair JoAnne Murray.

Murray thanked the event's many sponsors and volunteers: Tarrytown Honda, Mahopac National Bank, On Track Sports Center, Key Bank, Sam’s Club, Capri Pizza and Pasta, Westchester Marriott, Allan Block Insurance and Hudson Independent, the Tarrytown Fire Department, The Tarrytown Recreation Department, The Tarrytown Department of Public Works, The Girl Scouts of the Hudson, Interact Students, the Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns and emcee Bob Kimmel.
