Paving Projects To Affect Traffic On Sleepy Hollow Streets

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Drivers should be ready for detours in Sleepy Hollow as the Department of Public Works will be paving several roads in town on Aug. 15, 16 and 19.

Crews will be paving Pocantico Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the lower part of Harwood Avenue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday. The roads are scheduled to remain open, but parking will not be available.

Freemont Circle will be paved on Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and no parking will be available.

Crews will pave Beekman Avenue from Clinton Street to River Street on Monday. No parking will be allowed on the street and there may be closures of the Beekman Avenue.

The paving schedule is subject to change pending weather conditions and any unforeseen breakdowns.
