TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Lane and entrance ramp closures for the Tappan Zee Bridge will take place this week as the New York State Thruway Authority continues deck replacement work.
The lane closures on Monday through Friday nights are required in order for the contractor to continue with the replacement of the deck in the middle three lanes on the Tappan Zee Bridge, the Thruway noted in a press release.
Three left southbound lanes will be closed from Monday to Wednesday between 8 and 10:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. on the bridge from milepost 13.2 to 17.9. Two left northbound lanes will also be closed between 9 and 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. from milepost 13.2 to 16.2.
Roadwork will close three southbound lanes on Thursday between 8 and 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. from milepost 13.2 to 17.9. Two northbound lanes will also close between 9 and 11:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. from milepost 13.2 to 16.2.

The Thruway Authority noted that at least one lane southbound and one lane northbound will be opened to traffic during the roadwork.
Night roadwork between Monday and Friday will also close the southbound entrance at Interchange 10 from 8 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the entrance ramp from Broadway southbound in Tarrytown from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Traffic will be detoured through Nyack to the Route 59 entrance and through Tarrytown to the Route 119 entrance.
