New Voters Have Until Oct. 14 To Register

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – The general election is a little more than a month away. Are you prepared?

First time voters who wish to take part in the Nov. 8 elections must register to vote by Friday, Oct. 14. Voter registration forms can be delivered in person or mailed to the Westchester County Board of Elections. Mailed forms must be postmarked by Oct. 14 and received by Oct. 19.

The New York State League of Women Voters has recently released a guide to the November elections. Residents can create a personalized ballot by visiting the league's website and entering their address and zip code.

Polling stations can be found through the Westchester Board of Election's website.
