The snow is forecast to start at 7 a.m. or 8 a.m., making it unlikely for schools to be delayed or closed. However, schools could let students out early depending on the final strength of the storm.
The amount of snow that will end up falling is still hard to call, as forecasts range from as little as an inch with slush all the way up to six inches towards the coast.
The National Weather Service has issue a Special Weather Statement for all of Westchester calling for snow totals of 1 to 3 inches across the Lower Hudson Valley with higher amounts if snow bands develop.

All of the snow is likely to taper off by 2 p.m. or 3 p.m.
