Irvington resident Meredith Vieira will helm a new daytime NBC talk show, The New York Times reported Tuesday. “The Meredith Vieira Show” is slated for fall 2014.

Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow kicked off its second year as a teaching hospital by welcoming six new family medicine residents and four new dental residents.

A summer favorite returned to the Children's Room at Warner Library on Thursday: the “Tarrytown Teachers Telling Tales” series.

Phelps Memorial Hospital brought back its farmers market beginning Thursday at Rockwood Hall in Sleepy Hollow.

Trent Bronner, a former Sleepy Hollow firefighter, was sentenced to 10 years in state prison Tuesday for setting two fires, one of which left 19 people homeless, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office said.
