SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- A vehicle in Sleepy Hollow struck low-hanging wires, setting off a series of events that resulted in a collision with a tree on Sunday, Dec. 1, according to Patch.com .
Police say the utility poll holding the wires up was rotting and tilting, which is what caused the wires to sag. The driver's vehicle hit the wires, which caused it to run into a wall before hitting a tree, Patch.com reported.
The driver sustained no injuries, though he was found to have an expired license, according to Patch.com.
