GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Parents of a Greenburgh woman, Lauren Spierer, missing since 2011, have been allowed to sue two men who were with her before she disappeared, according to a LoHud report.

The lawsuit contends that the men were negligent because they supplied alcohol to Spierer after she was already intoxicated and did not make sure she arrived home safely, the article said.

The three were students at Indiana University at the time of the disappearance, according to the report.
