Elevator Damage The driver of a vehicle wasn’t paying attention and backed into a lift elevator on Main Street on June 14 around 10 a.m.

Deer Found Police responded to a report of an injured deer on North Brook Lane around 11 a.m. on June 14. Wildlife Rescue was notified and the deer was killed.

Identity Theft An Irvington resident reported that a thief got hold of the resident’s Bloomingdale-American Express credit card number and used it to make nearly $2,000 in purchases at CVS and Best Buy in Mount Vernon on May 12. Police say the investigation is ongoing and they do have a lead on the thefts at one of the stores.

Marijuana Possession A group of 15 youths were at Halsey Pond Park on June 14 around 3 p.m. without a park permit. Officials found that one of the teens, a 17-year-old from Dobbs Ferry, had marijuana. He was issued a summons.

Wielding Weapon Police received a report of a suspicious man carrying a large gun on Bridge Street on June 14 around 7:30 p.m. Police found that the gun was an air soft rifle. They secured the weapon but have made no arrests at this time.

Abbott House Runaway A 14-year-old female was reported missing from the Abbott House on June 16 at 3:10 p.m. She later returned to Abbott House around 4:30 p.m.

Abbott House Runaway An 11-year-old male was reported missing from the Abbott house on June 16 around 1:30 p.m. As of Monday morning, Abbott House had not notified police that the boy had returned.

Intoxicated Man Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man walking along the Croton Aqueduct on June 17 about midnight. The man was gone when they arrived at the scene.

Baby Deer Rescued Police rescued a baby deer after it had been found in a swimming pool on Barbara Lane on June 17 around 3 p.m. The deer was fished out of the pool and apparently released.

Injured Raccoon Police responded to a report of an injured raccoon on Broadway on June 18 around 9 a.m. Officials located the raccoon and killed it.
