The lecture will be held at the Irvington Public Library at 7:30 p.m. The Irvington Public Library is at 12 S. Astor St.

Barry’s lifelong interest in the subject was fueled by a childhood visit to Gettysburg, where his great-great grandfather served with the 65th New York Volunteers.  Every year, his AP American history class ends with a trip to Gettysburg.

Refreshments will be served at the event. For more information, visit irvingtonhistoricalsociety.org.
