IRVINGTON, N.Y. The Irvington Girl Scouts will celebrate Spirit Day this Saturday by cleaning up the Irvington trailways, and the trailways committee is asking residents to come help out.
Due to the tremendous amount of fallen limbs from the storm, we decided to ask for more volunteers to help the girls, Irvington Trailways Committee Chair Rich Goldman said.
Volunteers will be meeting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Nature Center parking lot on Mountain Road. Goldman asked volunteers to bring work gloves and water.
Goldman also asked residents who own a chain saw and have experience using it to RSVP to barjgoldman@optonline.net.
