Irvington Board of Education Goes Paperless

IRVINGTON, N.Y. – The Irvington Board of Education is going paperless.

The school board recently debuted the BoardDocs system, which will allow it to post documents and agendas online for residents instead of printing them out. Officials hope the BoardDocs system will provide greater transparency and help reduce paper use.

The BoardDocs website can be found at http://www.boarddocs.com/ny/iufsd/Board.nsf/Public and features agendas, backup materials, selected policies and important documents. Minutes from previous years, board meeting presentations and policies will eventually be posted to the site, with full implementation in February. BoardDocs is fully searchable.
