Greenburgh Man Charged With DWI

PATTERSON, N.Y. – New York State Police have charged Asim D. Hakanjin, 26, of Greenburgh, with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped the vehicle on Aug. 23 about 1:35 a.m., on Interstate 84 in Patterson for speeding, police said.

Hakanjin supplied a positive breath sample revealing a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent, according to police; the legal limit is 0.08 percent. He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear in Town of Patterson Court on Monday, Sept. 8.
