Richard C. Van Steen, formerly of Tarrytown died September 16, 2011 at the age of 69.
Born in Tarrytown on June 2, 1942, he was the son of Richard and Elizabeth Matthes Van Steen.
Richard is survived by his sons Richard (Joanne) and Christopher (Carrie); his brother Charles (Barbara), Mary Ann Van Steen, his four grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and loving family.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children's Hospital Foundation at Westchester Medical Center: 100 Woods Road Suite C3, Valhalla, N.Y. 10595.
