An apartment building was evacuated on Wednesday when police found a drug manufacturing lab, Yonkers Police said.
Members of both the Yonkers Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a Yonkers Avenue apartment building after being contacted by Con Edison about the equipment and chemicals.
The incident and arrest forced the closure of Yonkers Avenue East between Nepperhan Avenue and Oak Street for a time on Wednesday as police investigated the scene and removed the drug manufacturing equipment. The building was evacuated as a precaution.
