Crash Causes Delays On Sprain Brook Parkway

A serious motor-vehicle crash that initially took out lanes caused gridlock on a stretch of the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway late Saturday afternoon.

The crash, in which a car slammed into a guard rail, occurred at Route 100/Central Avenue with stop-and-go delays to Tuckahoe Road.

At least one injury was reported.
