Cortlandt Sex Offender Accused Of Raping 14-Year-Old Changes Address

A registered sex offender accused of raping a 14-year-old girl has changed addresses in Cortlandt Manor.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Friday to area County residents regarding the residency of 58-year-old Mark Bruno, who has moved into a home on Varian Road in Cortlandt Manor. He reportedly maintains a secondary residence in Worcester in upstate Otsego County.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Bruno as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Bruno had deviate sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl in Westchester in February 2006. He was arrested by the Peekskill City Police Department and sentenced to 10 years probation in January 2007. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.
