SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. A Sleepy Hollow woman was driving intoxicated with a six-year-old boy in the back seat of her 2011 gray Volkswagon on Sunday, police said.
Sleepy Hollow police charged Catherine Rodriguez, 34, with felony driving while intoxicated, along with a seat belt violation, on Sunday around 8 p.m. Rodriguez's blood alcohol content level was .18.
Police responded to a report of an intoxicated driver at the Citgo gas station on the corner of Old Broadway and Gordon Ave. Police found Rodriguez's car there, determined that she was intoxicated and arrested her.
The boy was safely returned to his father, police said.
Rodriguez was taken to police headquarters and then transported to Westchester County Jail with no bail. She will be appearing in Sleepy Hollow Court today at 3 p.m.
