According to Con Edison, nearly a dozen outages were still being reported in Westchester on Tuesday morning with hundreds of customers out of service in Greenburgh, White Plains and a stretch in New Rochelle.
Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said that Con Edison has augmented their staffing levels in response to the storm. Crews are currently on-site at most of the outages and all outages are expected to be fixed no later than 2 p.m.
Downed trees reported include:
- 5 Miller Terrace, where a tree struck a house and cars were damaged;
- 37 Greenvale Circle;
- 38 Randolph Lane, where there are large branches hanging; and
- Moorland Drive and Clayton Road, where a tree is blocking the entire roadway.
There are also traffic signals out of commission at the intersection of Dobbs Ferry and the Sprain Brook Parkway, as well as Tarrytown Road and Knollwood Road.
