Coastal Flood Watch For Westchester With Heavy Rain On Way

Localized minor coastal flooding is possible Thursday night during high tide for coastal Westchester, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a Coastal Flood Statement saying the time period is 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

That will be followed by a chance of overnight showers and thunderstorms, starting around 1 a.m., then patchy fog from about 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Friday will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day and evening. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain and gusty winds. Friday's high temperature will be in the low-80s.

Showers are likely Saturday with thunderstorms again possible. The high will be in the low- to mid-80s.

It will clear up Sunday with sunny skies and a high around 80.
