- Sleepy Hollow has been named one of nine "Breakthrough Schools" nationally by the MetLife Foundation and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
- A 1-year-old girl died as the result of a car crash on the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway. The crash led to a vehicle fire that closed the northbound Sprain for more than two hours.
- An 80-year-old Tarrytown woman, Bernadette Brennan, was killed when she was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the intersection of Route 119 and Meadow Street, according to LoHud.com.
- Popular Westchester County radio personality and a longtime host of 107.1 FM "The Peak's" morning drive show, Caroline Corley died suddenly Nov. 25.
