TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A day after a woman accused Bill Cosby of bringing her to the Playboy Mansion at age 15 and giving her alcohol before sexually molesting her — the comedian agreed to cancel his Westchester shows.

The Tarrytown Music Hall emailed the following message to ticket holders on Wednesday around 4:30 p.m.: “Dear Music Hall Patron,

Bill Cosby, in consultation with the promoter, has agreed to postpone the performances to a later date. As a ticket holder, you will receive a full refund.  Please reply to the email letting us know you've received this message.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but hope to see you back at The Music Hall soon!

Thank you, The Music Hall"

Though the shows are said to be “postponed,”  they have yet to be rescheduled. Björn Olsson, Tarrytown Music Hall’s executive director, declined to comment on the matter.

The Music Hall caught heat over the last few weeks for hosting the shows, which were originally sold out to about 800 patrons per each of the two showings on Saturday, Dec. 6.   The show was booked by AM Productions who rented out the Music Hall. If the Music Hall cancelled the show they would owe AM Productions about $120,000 that would force them to downsize their staff, Olsson said in a previous Daily Voice article .    If AM Production reneged on its contract, they would have owed Cosby. Before refunds were announced, The Music Hall planned to keep a list of those who boycotted the show and send it to Cosby.   “The Cosby Show” dad agreed to refund patrons their tickets on Friday, and hundreds did . The Music Hall said it would boost security efforts on Saturday , as some threatened to protest the show.

Cosby has not been charged in any of the allegations, which have been made by more than 17 women. He settled a lawsuit in 2006 with Andrea Constand who accused him of abuse.

Celebrity attorney Gloria Allred is now representing the latest set of women with accusations against Cosby, the Chicago Tribute reports .

Cosby’s lawyers have said the allegations were “discredited” and “defamatory.” Cosby has referred to the allegations as “innuendo,” the Huffington Post reports .

Cosby thanked Jill Scott and Whoopi Goldberg via Twitter for recently defending him in the press.
