Saturno, director of social services at Sprain Brook Manor in Scarsdale, received the honor, which is presented to an individual for outstanding advocacy on behalf of vulnerable and oppressed groups, at the NASW Statewide Conference in Albany on Oct. 6.
Saturno, a specialist in aging, also won the NASW's nationally recognized 2016 Media Award for Best Documentary earlier this year for “Human Investment,” her short film about elders and caregivers.
A member of the board of directors of the Westchester End of Life Coalition, Saturno holds master's degrees from both Columbia and Long Island universities.
