SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. Mary V. Tonelli of Sleepy Hollow died May 24. She was 92.
Born Oct. 15, 1919, in North Tarrytown, Tonelli was the daughter of Constantine and Anna Ambra Vizvary. She graduated from Irvington High School and went on to secretarial school. Tonelli worked as a secretary for Burnham Corp. in Irvington for several years.
On May 25, 1946, she married Louis P. Tonelli in Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington. He predeceased her in 1985. Tonelli was a parishioner and volunteer at Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Louise Tonelli, of Sleepy Hollow, Linda T. (John) Davin, of Tappan, N.Y., and Jean T. (Michael) DeGroat, of Walton, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. Tonelli was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John Vizvary; and two sisters, Frances Vizvary and Ann Ross.
Visitation was at Coffey Funeral Home Monday. A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, with burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
