TARRYTOWN, N.Y. John M. Clark, a longtime Tarrytown resident, died April 3. He was 87.
He was born April 9, 1924, in New Rochelle, to John M. and Muriel Kellard Clark. A World War II veteran, Clark worked for many years at General Motors Corp. He also was a business agent for United Auto Workers Local 664.
Clark is survived by two sons, John M. Clark III of Peekskill and Thomas Clark of Tarrytown; three brothers, William F., Richard and David Clarke; two sisters, Muriel Clarke and June Schnall; and a grandson. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan, in 2002.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
