TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Harry Potter, Snow White and Mario all made appearances in Tarrytown on Saturday, catching motorists' and pedestrians' delight.
Several dozen children participated in the annual Tarrytown Ragamuffin Parade on Saturday afternoon, marching down Route 9 in elaborate costumes. The group began at Patriot's Park at 2 p.m. and ended at the Main Street Firehouse, where music and refreshments waited.
The annual parade is sponsored by the Tarrytown Recreation Department, the Sleepy Hollow-Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce and the Ex-Fire Chiefs Association.
