What Would A Second Degree Do For You? Find Out This March At Pace

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- For those looking to get ahead in their careers, or switch entirely, going back to school for a second or third degree is a necessary first step. Fortunately for prospective postgraduate students in the New York area, Pace University is hosting an Open House on March 9 on its Pleasantville campus to showcase its world-class graduate-level programs built with the working professional in mind.

“Pace’s advanced degree programs are based on accelerating a student’s career trajectory and leveraging areas of job growth," said AVP of Enrollment - Marketing Henry Baker. "Here we focus on combining classroom learning and translating what you learn to a real-world situation, including your current job." Additionally, "Pace has one of the largest Career Services organizations of any area school, and it works with students to find the right career path. That’s what makes Pace so effective." said Baker.

One of the biggest challenges in going back to school is the time commitment, but at Pace that burden is made a little easier. Students can attend classes full or part time, with most sessions held in the afternoons and evenings. "This flexibility and Pace’s awareness of students’ professional and personal responsibilities are important," said Baker.

When it come to who goes back to school, Baker notes there is no typical Pace graduate student. "We get people who come to us straight out of school or shortly after and get those advanced credentials right away, but we have people who say they have reached a point where they either want to change careers or bump up their credentials."

"This open house is a terrific opportunity for people in the area to get to know Pace better and learn more about our programs. We have a lot more going on in Pleasantville than most people realize." said Baker.

Pace will host its graduate school open house on Wednesday, March 9 on its Pleasantville Campus. It will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kessel Student Center. To RSVP, click here.
