TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - The annual Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday escaped the rain that fell a day earlier, but brisk winds and cold temps still greeted the large crowds that turned out.

Despite the cold, partially sunny skies made for a festive atmosphere as numerous marching bands, fire departments and community groups marched past appreciative crowds decked out in holiday green.
