Tarrytown's Kykuit Tours Showcases Rockefeller Philanthropy

POCANTICO HILLS, N.Y. – Now open for the season, Kykuit Tours presents the well-known philanthropy of the Rockefellers through the six-story stone house that was home to four generations of the famous family.

Kykuit’s modern and classical art collection, architecture and gardens bring tens of thousands of visitors annually to the lower Hudson Valley attraction to learn about the Rockefeller’s dedication to public service, the arts, philanthropy and their family traditions, tour officials said.

The Historic Hudson Valley Organization announced tours are available Saturdays and Sundays in May and November and Wednesdays through Sundays from June to September. Tours operate daily in October except for Tuesdays.

Tours are also available on Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Four tours are available, including the ideal first-time visitor Classic Tour, Grand, Timesaver, and Selected Highlights tours.

Tickets prices, times and other tour information is available online. Tickets may also be purchased by calling 914-366-6900 or by visiting the Kykuit Visitor Center in Sleepy Hollow.

NYC visitors are offered a special Metro-North Railroad package including discounted admission and rail fare from Grand Central Terminal. 

Tarrytown House Estate offers special packages that include overnight accommodations and tickets to Kykuit. For more information check out its website.
