The four-month-old TaSH won the DVlicious contest with 43 percent of the vote.
Tarrytown Mayor Drew Fixell, along with board members, Tarrytown trustees and TaSH sponsors and organizers were on hand for the presentation, led by Daily Voice Features Editor Jeanne Muchnick.
In attendance (in no particular order): Mary McGee, Greg Welch, Ron Meinders, Krista Barron, Daniel Blum, Suzanne Sorrentino, Joseph Syngjellari, Wanda Tracy, Rachel Tieger and Tammy Abraham.
"The fact that readers of the Daily Voice voted for the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Farmers Market as Westchester’s best is both gratifying and a sign of how great the Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow community is," said Co-Founder Sorrentino.
"As a market created by members of this community, the TaSH is really just a reflection of all the creative, dedicated open-hearted people who live here.
"Those of us who have been in the trenches putting this together for the past four years feel really proud that we have been able to at least come close to giving this community the market it deserves."
