Should Dogs Be Allowed At Restaurants, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Irvington?

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Legislation passed by the New York state Senate last week would give restaurants the right to allow customers to bring dogs to outdoor dining areas.

A New York state bill would allow dogs in outdoor areas of restaurants.

Under the bill, restaurants would have to take steps to prevent contamination of food, utensils and equipment. Restaurants would not be required to adopt such a policy, nor would it give diners the right to bring their dogs to any restaurant, according to the bill.
