The restaurant was not only given a positive review on its food, but the comfortable and inviting environment also was noted. The restaurant, whose prices may run higher than others, was said to be on the finer side of Westchester's dining experiences, reported nytimes.com.

Rivermarket is owned by the same individuals who run Chappaqua's Crabtree's Kittle House and its desserts received yet another compliment on taste and appearance, as did the interior design of the restaurant, from its ceiling to its walls, reported nytimes.com.
