Poll: Will You Watch Fox's 'Sleepy Hollow' This Fall?

In "Sleepy Hollow," Ichabod Crane wakes up from the throes of death 250 years in the future to find the world on the brink of destruction and learn he is humanity's only hope.

The TV network plans to air a new drama, titled “Sleepy Hollow” this fall. On the show, Ichabod Crane is a Revolutionary War captain who travels forward in time and must solve a police officer's murder when the Headless Horseman returns to haunt the town. It then becomes clear there's more going on than meets the eye, and Crane must help save humanity.

Fox released the first trailer for the show on Monday.

The show was not filmed in Sleepy Hollow, although the trailer shows several aerial views of the village including the Philipse Manor Train Station and the Hudson River waterfront.

British actor Tom Mison has been tapped to play Ichabod Crane. Other cast members include Shame actor Nicole Beharie, MadTV star Orlando Jones and Dexter alumna Katia Winter.

The show is penned by Transformers writers Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci.
