Lineup For 93rd Annual Yorktown Grange Fair Includes 'The Voice' Singer

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A singer on "The Voice," a school superintendent and What It Is are some of the many acts performing at this year's Yorktown Grange Fair, a Northern Westchester staple since the 1920s.

Amanda Ayala, who was on "The Voice," will be performing Friday, Sept. 8. The band "Unfunded Mandate," fronted by Lakeland School District Superintendent George Stone will be performing class rock covers on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

What It Is, an eight-piece band featuring two vocalists and a horn section will perform Sunday afternoon in the 93rd annual event from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The 2017 Yorktown Grange Fair runs from Friday, Sept. 8 through Sunday, Sept. 10. 

The Yorktown Grange Fair will also feature students from the Dance for Joy school and participation music by John Griffiths of Overhill Shenanigans. There is also an animal Show, bubble Show, magic show, Simon Says, and karaoke singing. 

The fair will also feature contests for pie-eating, balloon blowing, bubble gum blowing, a water balloon toss
