Kevin Bacon's 'The Following' Features Tarrytown Hotel

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Fans of Kevin Bacon's new TV show “The Following” may have recognized a Tarrytown icon during Monday's episode.

The DoubleTree Hotel can be seen in the promotional trailer for "The Following."

The show featured several scenes shot at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown. The hotel is also featured in the show's promotional trailer.

Bacon and the rest of the crew have been filming throughout Westchester County for the FOX TV drama.

Crews filmed at the Town of Ossining Police Headquarters in early March. The show also filmed at Rockefeller State Park Preserve in Pocantico Hills.

“The Following” features Bacon as former FBI agent Ryan Hardy sent to help capture a notorious serial killer who has escaped from death row. Bacon’s character discovers the escaped killer is part of a cult of serial killers, according to a show synopsis from Warner Brothers.
