Hungry Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow? Get Set For Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Five restaurants in Tarrytown are participating in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW), begining March 9.

Despite the "week" in its name, the two-week promotion, which runs through March 22, features prix fixe, three-course dinners for $29.95 and $20.95 lunches (plus drinks, tax and tip) with a focus on locally sourced seasonal ingredients.

More than 200 restaurants throughout Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Columbia counties are participating. Go here for the full list, and yes, reservations are being taken now.

Tarrytown eateries include Bistro Z, Cooper's Mill, Rivermarket Bar & Kitchen, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and The Twisted Oak.

Diners are encouraged to share their dining images during HVRW on Facebook, Twitter and Instragram for the opportunity to win prizes, including gift certificates to HVRW restaurants and sponsors.
