No one's quite sure what the actor/producer is doing in town but First Village did recently win "best latte" by Westchester Magazine so maybe it's simply about the caffeine fix.

Or it could be the community vibe and commitment to sustainability.

The cafe, which opened in January 2017, is owned by the husband and wife duo of Luis and Kathryn Corena and uses beans from Irving Farm, a Hudson Valley-based roasting company which focuses on direct relationships with farmers and a philosophy of quality over quantity.

First Village also uses premium-quality dairy from Battenkill Farm in all of its milk-based drinks and the Barista Series for almond and soy milks.

A majority of the cafe's products -- from the coffee to the dairy to the baked goods -- are sourced within New York state. First Village is also committed to being an environmentally responsible business.

The coffee shop is at 123 Main St., 914-236-3765, www.firstvillagecoffee.com/.
