Born Oct. 18, 1954, in Independence, Mo., he is an actor, writer and film director known for his roles in “Natural Born Killers,” “Full Metal Jacket” and “Ruby.”
In 1997, he co-starred in “The Lost World: Jurassic Park.”
In 2013, he joined the season six cast of “True Blood” as Truman Burrell.
He is married to actress Debra Winger.
